This trek begins and ends in Pokhara. It is not overly difficult and offers terrifc biews of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare, the famous and sacred fishtail mountain of Nepal. The maximum altitude is about 8000 (2500m) so it will not present problems to those who suffer from height. The villages are mostly Gurung and Brahmin and Chhetri although you will see the people of many different ethnic groups along the trail, including Sherpas and Tibetan traders. This is a very good trek for the people who have only little time but who want a taste of the mountains and village life in Nepal.
Itinerary: Panchase Trekking - 08 Days Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Pick up from the airport, Overnight at Hotel. Day 02: Drive to Pokhara, Overnight stay at Hotel. Day 03: Drive to Davis Fall, Trek to Bumdi, 5-6 hours walk, Overnight at Camp. Day 04: Trek to Panchase, 6 hours easy uphill, Overnight at Camp. Day 05: Trek to Naudanda, Overnight at Camp. Day 06: Trek to Fewa, Drive to Pokhara, Overnight at Hotel. Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel. Day 08: Transfor to airport for final departure.
